About Me

Hello! I'm a student journalist based in the Dallas-Fort Worth area. As a high school senior, I am the Editor-in-Chief of The Talon News, chapter president of Quill & Scroll National Honor Society for Journalists, founding chapter president of Skills USA Audio-Visual and team captain of my school's UIL Journalism team.

In 2024, I earned a gold medal for my UIL Journalism 2024 5A State Editorial and earned the Editorial Tops in Texas award. Additionally, I have earned an honorable mention award from the 2025 Associated of Texas Photography Instructors Fall Photo Contest.

I have previously interned at The Post-Signal, had my work published in The North Texan Daily and was a participant in the University of North Texas Scripps-Howard Foundation Program.

I'm seeking opportunities to advance my passion and knowledge of media. I'm eager to learn from journalists in a professional newsroom and contribute my skills of writing, photography, graphic design and marketing.
